How Plumbline uses your data

Last updated: July 10, 2026

The short version: Plumbline reads your data to measure your ads. We never touch your campaigns, never sell your data, and never show your numbers to anyone else. This page is the plain-English promise. The formal versions are our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Data Processing Addendum. If this page and the formal documents ever seem to disagree, tell us, because they shouldn't.

01 What we access, and how

You connect Shopify and your ad platforms through read-only access. Plumbline pulls your orders, your ad spend, and what each platform claims it drove. We cannot change your campaigns, budgets, or store. There is no write access to revoke because we never ask for it.

02 What we store

Order amounts, dates, refund status, the evidence that links an order to a traffic source, and shipping region at the state level. We do not store your customers' names, emails, or addresses. Order records are kept under your account and isolated from every other account at the database level.

03 What your data is used for

One thing: your own dashboard. Your revenue, your spend, each platform's claims next to what your orders support, and the measurements built on them. Nothing else.

04 What we will never do

05 If you leave

Disconnecting stops all data collection. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it. The formal details live in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
